Version A008


Progress continued towards the end of Chapter 2, but my windows os kept crashing and corrupting the database. Spent some time reinstalling windows, and taking the opportunity to completely rework the combat system to better suit my tastes, as well as install plenty of plugins now that I have a better idea of how the game is shaping up.

  • Saves prior to this version should not be used.
  • Saves made in Ch2 might not be worth using in later updates.
  • Utilized several plugins to overhaul system functions and UI. Check out how sleek it is!
  • Enemies only exist in Ch1 in this version. While most of Ch2 is technically playable, there's no encounters and it might be rather boring.
  • Overhauled the damage formula and added Weapon Damage as a parameter. Weapons increase your damage a lot compared to levels, so be sure to seek out replacements regularly!
  • Adjusted the parameters of existing enemies in Ch1
  • Changes some treasure content to reflect database changes.
  • Equipment types were overhauled. Now everyone can equip an Offhand, Armor based on class, an Accessory, and an Orb.
  • Armor increases Defense, which scales similarly to Weapon Damage.
  • Accessories will give variable effects, such as increasing elemental resistance or granting a status to attacks.
  • Orbs provide Magic Defense and may even allow certain spells to be cast while equipped.
  • Fixed an oopsies where the door leading into the aqueduct proper just moved you back into the same room.
  • The dungeon for ch2 is explorable but due to database changes the treasure won't be right and there's no enemies, as previously mentioned.
